It's only day 2 at TCEA, and so far I have to share some tweets of great resources, some of which I will be exploring more myself for future reference and knowledge I have gathered from the conference. First off, a great layout for a digital scavenger hunt laid out by a great EdTecher from El Paso, Earl Yager: http://efyager.weebly.com/digital-scavenger-hunts.html . Next, if you are thinking about using Twitter, take a look at how you can streamline the tweets of your students using TwitterFontana which displays a stream of hashtags helping you filter classes and participate in writing and summary skills. I will do some more as I get time but be ready to turn on the learning in your classroom!
As I do my finishing touches for my Symbaloo workshop tomorrow, I wanted to write how excited I am about being at TCEA! If you ever have a chance to attend, it is full of innovative ideas and teachers that embrace and promote technology in the classroom. I am looking forward to learning more about publishing ebooks in the morning, then doing my own sharing on Symbaloo. As I learn and become inspired, I will share more from the week's finds with you:)
I work with teachers and students as an education technology specialist for middle school and serve as the TXDLA K-12 Board Member. My goal is to share innovative and useful information for other educators, as well as catalog my personal finds along the way!
